Foreign women in prostitution in Denmark

Four primary groups of foreign women - of which some can be potential victims of human trafficking - have been observed working in various prostitution arenas throughout Denmark:

• A group of Thai women work in massage parlours in and around Copenhagen, Århus, the Vejle municipality and Southern Jutland.
• A group of women from Central- and Eastern Europe work in street prostitution in Copenhagen.
• A group of African women working in street prostitution in and around Copenhagen.
• A smaller group of women from Latin America working in massage parlours in and around Copenhagen.
